What stood in the way
Rangoli sold excellent mithai in plain boxes. During Diwali the shop competed with national brands on the same street and lost the gifting occasion entirely: nothing about the packaging said it was worth carrying to someone's home.
The idea behind it
We built the range around a rangoli grid — one repeating geometric pattern that survives gold foil on maroon board, single-colour print on kraft, and a rubber stamp on the smallest box. Three box sizes stack into a single gift tower, so one system covers counter sales and corporate gifting.
